Join a small-group adventure in Baa Atoll to experience one of the Maldives’ most exciting snorkelling encounters: seasonal manta activity around Hanifaru Bay.

You’ll stay on Dharavandhoo, a local island close to Hanifaru, and spend your days searching for mantas, turtles, and dolphins — with relaxed evenings, island time, and a final BBQ with a traditional Boduberu show.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival to Maldives and turtles!

  • You will be greeted at the Malé Velana International Airport by one of our representatives.
  • They will direct you to the domestic flight from Malé Airport to Dharavandhoo Island.
  • Hotel check-in.
  • We will head to two-spot snorkelling (Turtle Reef and Kihaa Reef).
  • Return to the hotel for group dinner.

Manta Safari, Dolphins search

  • Breakfast at the hotel (both local and continental options available).
  • We will head off in search of mantas and turtles for the first snorkelling session (two-spot snorkelling).
  • We will head off in search of dolphins.
  • Return to the hotel before sunset for a chill evening.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

Dive experience day

  • Breakfast at the hotel (both local and continental options available).
  • Discover Scuba Dive (DSD) (optional).
  • Sandbank trip.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

Mantas & Whale Shark

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Snorkel with mantas (Hanifaru Bay if active; if no mantas in the bay we will head off in search).
  • We will head off in search of whale sharks. Once located, we will snorkel with the biggest fish in the world.
  • Return to the hotel for a chill evening on the island.
  • Dinner at the hotel.
